Left out of the LeBron James sweepstakes, the New Jersey Nets will move onward with their ambitious 'Blueprint for Greatness' campaign. Some thought the Nets would be in the running for James due to his relationship with minority owner Jay-Z, but that was not the case.

By coming up on the losing end of a friendly wager over the outcome of the Brazil-North Korea World Cup match, North Korea dictator Kim Jong-il was forced to wear some ridiculous glasses in his latest public appearance. Jong-il had made a bet with Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva before the match.
