27 Team, 62 Player NBA Trade Way Too Complicated To Explain

A blockbuster NBA trade was finalized today, involving 27 teams, 62 players and 34 draft picks. The trade is much too complicated to explain, and may even be too difficult for the league to completely sort out. But as of right now, 15 teams have elevated themselves to become instant contenders to reach the Finals.

"It's nice that I could get traded to a contender," said former Wizards forward Antawn Jamison, who's pretty confident he'll end up in Cleveland. However due to the complexity of the deal he may actually be playing with the Clippers or the Sioux Falls Skyforce, an NBA D-League team.

Kevin Martin of the Kings was also traded, but he's not so sure where he's going just yet.

"Well, first my agent said I was traded to the Rockets, but then he called back and said I was in fact traded to the Knicks, who traded me to Milwaukee, who sent me back to Sacramento. I'm not entirely sure if I should go to the airport, or just report to practice with the Kings like nothing happened. But that would be really awkward."

Celtics GM Danny Ainge, whose club played a role in the blockbuster, fears his team may have been a bit too aggressive in the attempt to bolster its roster.

"Things get complicated when you involved 27 teams," said Ainge. "I'll admit, I was a bit confused by the whole thing, but I'm almost certain I agreed to swap entire rosters with the Timberwolves. That worked in our favor in the Kevin Garnett deal a while back, but I'm not so sure that improves our team this time around."
