Despite a history of bad luck and poor decision making, a rumor that something good has happened to the Los Angeles Clippers is spreading. If the rumor turns out to be true, it would be the first positive for the franchise in recent memory.

"I couldn't believe it when I heard the rumor," said assistant coach Kim Hughes. "Usually it's just one bad thing after another. Hopefully this 'something good' starts to snowball, and more things begin to go our way."

Guard Baron Davis thinks any positive, no matter how small, would be more than welcome in the Clippers locker room.

"If they'd just tell us the good news already! Since I've been here the best thing about being a Clipper is sharing an arena with the Lakers. Sometimes people show up for what they think will be a Lakers game hoping to see Kobe only to find out it's us. Better than playing in front of empty seats I guess."

A source close to the situation says despite the rumor, nothing good has happened to the Clippers.

"Nothing good has, or will probably ever happen to the Los Angeles Clippers. Well, unless you count getting rid of Benoit Benjamin and Michael Olowokandi, but then again it was our own fault for drafting them in the first place."
