Georgia authorities have yet to speak with Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger regarding allegations that he sexually assaulted a college student. His lawyer maintains Roethlisberger's innocence, and thus far, attempts to speak with the elusive quarterback have been unsuccessful. Authorities are now considering bringing in a sideline reporter to hopefully catch Big Ben off-guard with some type of quickie interview.

"We just marveled at the ease with which those sideline reporters are able to get interviews right on the spot," said one investigator. "I mean look at that, she just stepped in there, started asking questions and wasn't even held up by a lawyer or offensive coordinator or nothing. That's ballsy. We need that type of attitude here at the bureau."

Should Michele Tafoya, Pam Oliver or Chris Myers fail to get Roethlisberger talking, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation fears they may have exhausted every approach in the book.

"We tried asking Ben directly, but he wouldn't return our calls. Then we politely asked his lawyer and he said no. If the sideline reporter can't catch him off-guard, there is no way he will ever talk to us. After all, we're just lowly law enforcement officers. We can't just forcibly drag him in here like he's the lone suspect in the ongoing investigation of a crime. He has rights."
