Several weeks of uncontrolled, lengthy binges on Double Stuf Oreos have left Giants quarterback Eli Manning sixty pounds overweight. Manning had been training for an upcoming Double Stuf race by eating absurd amounts of Oreo cookies on a daily basis.
"I thought I'd put on a few pounds, but I never imagined sixty," said Manning, barely recognizable due to the incredible weight gain. "Who would have thought that eating several bags of Oreos each day for six weeks could do this to a person?"
Manning, despite weighing 285 pounds, doesn't think his play will be affected by his new body.
"I went out there today and was able to throw the ball pretty well, so I think my weight is a non-issue. Of course, by throwing the ball well I'm referring to the four plays I was able to run before having to sit down and catch my breath. Apparently sixty extra pounds makes it more difficult to breathe. But other than the whole breathing thing I should be fine."
