The St. Louis Rams are being praised by many for heriocally emerging from their locker room and making their way to the field, only to be embarrassed by the Tennessee Titans 47-7.
"It showed some guts for them to leave their locker room like that," said ESPN's Trent Dilfer. "Most teams that bad would have stayed in the locker room or simply refused to get off the team bus."
Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo says he could not be prouder of his guys.
"We worked hard all week on building up enough courage to leave the locker room," said Spagnuolo. "I'm just so proud of our guys for walking all the way through the tunnel to the field. It took a lot of guts for them to do that without turning back."
Spagnuolo says Rams fans have much to look forward too, as the team hopes to build on the momentum started by their heroic tunnel walk.
"That walk shows just how much we've grown as a football team this season. Now that we've mastered getting from the locker room to the field, hopefully we can devote more practice time to actual on the field skills. You know, things like breaking a huddle or running without falling down."
