Annoying Guy At Work Probably Thinks Vuvuzelas Are Cool

July 02, 2010 - Port Elizabeth, South Africa - epa02233379 A Brazilian soccer fan blows a Vuvuzela horn before the FIFA World Cup 2010 quarter final soccer match between the Netherlands and Brazil at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, 02 July 2010.

That annoying guy at work, Steve in IT, probably thinks those vuvuzelas at the World Cup make 'a really cool sound' assumes everyone at your office. "I can totally see that guy bringing in a vuvuzela from home," said Betty in the next cubicle. "He'd pester everyone in the office with that thing, even more than he does on a normal day."

Steve in IT, better known as 'Annoying Computer Guy', regularly gets under co-workers skin with his seemingly endless stories and unsought bits of advice. That is if he isn't telling awkward, poorly timed, often misunderstood jokes.

"Yeah, I don't want to hear about how you dominated World of Warcraft over the weekend," said Randy from sales. "And if you're going to tell a joke, at least try to be funny. No one want to hear a joke without a punchline - especially if you're talking with half a turkey sub still in your mouth."

Everyone at your office speculates Annoying Computer Guy has a giant set of thunder sticks in addition to a vuvuzela, and most likely some other incredibly irritating noisemakers.

"He probably has a cowbell or something like that too," added Pete in accounting.

"On second thought, if Annoying Computer Guy was using a vuvuzela he wouldn't be talking, so maybe that would be an improvement."
